Know where your home stands.
Steadgard turns a few facts about your home into a clear plan for what matters now, planning ranges for what may be coming, and a living record of the work you’ve done.
Steadgard is home-management software for one specific home: it connects what you know about the house to what deserves attention now, what to plan for, and what has already been done.

Turn homeownership into a clear plan.
Built from your home, not a generic checklist.
Start with your location and home type. Add the year it was built or its size if you know them. If you don’t, choose Not sure and keep going.
- Not sure is a valid answer. Steadgard starts from broader planning assumptions until you know more.
- It labels what you confirmed, what it is estimating, and what would make the plan sharper.
- An address search matches your location for climate and seasons. It does not look up property records.
Know what to do next.
One next best move, not a two-hundred-item checklist.
Your dashboard puts one recommendation first and says why it matters and why now, using the maintenance plan built for your home and what Steadgard has on record. The rest waits its turn on your schedule.
Understand what to plan for.
Planning windows and ranges, not guesses dressed up as quotes.
When a system’s type and install year are known, Steadgard shows its expected window and a planning range for the work. If the type is missing, it says so instead of guessing a price. Ranges stay ranges, the basis is shown, and a local quote is always the authority on real work.
Your home should remember what you’ve done.
Keep a trusted record of care.
Completed work, the service you log and the install years you confirm build one dated Home History, newest first. Each entry shows how it is recorded — documented, self-reported or on file. Documents, warranties and photos remain part of the broader Home Record as supporting context and evidence. A confirmed install year feeds that system’s expected window, and relevant service history can sharpen a supported system estimate.
When you sell, choose what to carry forward.
Turn selected history into a Seller’s Package.
You choose which records to publish. Steadgard turns them into a buyer-readable Seller’s Package; everything you leave out stays private in your account. It is a documented history — not an inspection, appraisal or disclosure.
Reminders know dates. Folders know files. Steadgard connects the facts about your home to the decisions they affect.

Common questions
What do I need to get started?
Start with your location and home type. Year built and size are optional, and you can choose Not sure. Add more system detail later if you want a sharper plan.
What if I don’t know my furnace’s age (or anything else)?
Choose Not sure. Steadgard starts from broader planning assumptions and ranges, labels them as estimates, and gets more specific when you add better information.
Does Steadgard monitor my house?
No. Steadgard is not a sensor or monitoring system. It works from what you tell it, your location and season, and what you record over time.
What happens after the free trial?
The standard trial is 14 days, and no credit card is required to start. Some partner, referral or home-handoff benefits add free days. If you do not subscribe when your free access ends, paid features lock until you start a subscription.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from Billing at any time. Canceling during the trial costs nothing. If you cancel a paid subscription, your access continues through the end of the current paid period.
How many homes does a subscription cover?
One. A subscription covers 1 actively managed home per subscription.
Is my home data private?
Steadgard does not sell, rent or trade your personal information. Your data is used to operate, secure and improve the service, and is shared with service providers only as described in our Privacy Policy.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. Steadgard works in modern mobile browsers and is designed to work on phones, tablets and desktops.
What happens if I sell my home?
You choose which maintenance history, system records and warranties to publish as a Seller’s Package — a buyer-ready home record you choose to share when you sell. Nothing transfers automatically. Documents you select are listed by name; the files themselves stay private in your account. The Seller’s Package is included with an active subscription or free trial.
I already use a spreadsheet (or calendar, or notes app). Why this?
A spreadsheet stores the facts you enter. Steadgard connects the home facts you have — such as a system’s age, a warranty, the season and its service history — to the planning decisions they affect, and keeps that history in one place.
